Bellingham Herald intern Katie Barnes is leaving us after a half year here in B'ham. And frankly, it bites. She's fun, talented and a bit quirky. (she showed up at a get together at my home wearing a flowing transparent dress over her jeans) She's plays the piano very well, shoots very well and has done a hell of a job of making a website for me. Thanks Katie! So we'll get together tonight, toast her, and bemoan the fact that our world got a little less interesting without her around. Bummer.

oh andy. i'll miss you guys too... so much. thanks for the sendoff last night, and hopefully everyone will itch their mosquito bites and remember me, at least for a few days! we'll keep in touch, i'm sure of it...
